噴油泵的供油齒桿須保持靈活，以保證調(diào)速反應(yīng)的靈敏性。用靈敏的彈簧秤對齒桿進行拉動阻力測試，對應(yīng)缸噴油泵的拉動阻力應(yīng)分別不大于規(guī)定值。由于生銹、柱塞偶件緊固后變形、柱塞彈簧折斷后齒圈與齒桿嚙合處碾傷、齒桿端部軸套嚴重磨損、撥叉式油量調(diào)節(jié)機構(gòu)的撥叉緊固角度不正確，噴油泵調(diào)速器的推力斜盤和飛球座的安裝或配合不良等原因，都會影響供油齒桿的靈活性。當這種影響靈活性的阻力還未達到使供油齒桿不能移動的程度時，就會出現(xiàn)時快時慢現(xiàn)象（若供油齒桿不能移動，出現(xiàn)故障現(xiàn)象將視齒桿停留位置不同而有所區(qū)別；例如，柴油發(fā)電機不能啟動、不能熄火、轉(zhuǎn)速不受控制、飛車等）

Due to rusting, deformation of plunger components after fastening, crushing at the meshing point between the gear ring and the gear rod after the plunger spring is broken, severe wear on the shaft sleeve at the end of the gear rod, incorrect tightening angle of the shift fork of the oil quantity adjustment mechanism, and poor installation or coordination of the thrust inclined plate and flying ball seat of the fuel injection pump governor, the flexibility of the fuel supply gear rod can be affected. When the resistance that affects flexibility has not yet reached the level that prevents the fuel supply rod from moving, a phenomenon of sometimes fast and sometimes slow will occur (if the fuel supply rod cannot move, the fault phenomenon will vary depending on the position of the rod; for example, diesel generators cannot start, cannot stop, the speed is not controlled, and the speed is flying, etc.)
